How We Work

How Your Playbook Gets Built

We look at your situation, build a strategy around it, and keep adjusting as your life changes. That's it. No 47-step onboarding process. No binder that collects dust.

The Process

Your Playbook. Built in Weeks, Not Months.

Most of the heavy lifting happens in two meetings. After that, the Playbook shifts into something you actually use — not something you forget about.

We called the firm Playbook for a reason. A real playbook gets used. The pages get wrinkled. You flip back to it before a big decision, mark it up when things change, and know exactly where to find the play you need when the moment calls for it.

Your Playbook isn't a binder we hand you at the end of a meeting. It's the strategy we build together, the one that actually accounts for your concentrated position, your tax situation, and what you want your life to look like — and it keeps evolving as those things change.

1

We figure out where you are.

The stuff most people skip — or don't realize matters.

You share the key documents — tax returns, statements, benefits, vesting schedules — and we build a current-state snapshot. Net worth, savings rate, concentration risk, insurance gaps, estate plan status. We flag anything that needs attention now vs. what can wait. This usually happens before our first real meeting, so we're not wasting your time on intake when we sit down.

2

We build the Playbook.

Not a plan that sits in a drawer. A strategy you can actually execute.

This is the meeting where we present the actual strategy — tailored to your concentrated position, your tax picture, and your goals. We walk through the options, the trade-offs, and the sequencing. Collar vs. PVF. Sell now vs. hedge and monetize. Where the tax losses come from. What the timeline looks like. You leave with a clear, prioritized plan — not a 60-page report you'll never open.

3

We run the plays.

The Playbook doesn't work if nobody executes it.

We handle the execution — setting up the hedge, deploying capital into the SMA, coordinating with your CPA on tax timing, making sure the pieces move in the right order. You're not managing this yourself. We are. You'll know what's happening and why, but you won't be the one chasing down paperwork.

4

We keep it current.

Because the plan you built in March might not fit by September.

New RSU vest? Business offer came in? Market dropped 20%? We don't wait for you to call. Scheduled reviews and proactive check-ins keep the Playbook current. The strategy evolves as your life does — that's the whole point of having one.

What's Included

Everything in Your Playbook

These aren't add-ons. They're the core of what we do for every client.

Concentrated Position Strategy

Collars, PVFs, box spread monetization, systematic sell-downs — the full toolkit for hedging and diversifying without getting destroyed on taxes.

Tax Planning

Year-round strategies to reduce your current and future tax bill. We coordinate directly with your CPA — not just at filing time.

Investment Management

Portfolio construction built around your goals, your timeline, and your tax situation. Tax-aware long/short SMAs, direct indexing, and diversified allocation.

Retirement Modeling

What you actually need, whether you're on track, and the account types and withdrawal strategy that make the math work.

Insurance & Estate Review

We review what you have, flag what's missing, and coordinate with your estate attorney so your assets transfer the way you want.

Cashflow & Debt Planning

A clear picture of what's coming in, what's going out, and where there's room to do more with what you've already built.

Transparent Pricing.
No Surprises.

If your investable assets are under $1 million, your fee is a planning fee based on income (0.50%) and assets (1.00%) — with a $3,500 minimum and a $10,000 cap. Once your assets reach $1 million, the planning fee goes away and you pay a tiered AUM fee that decreases as your portfolio grows.
